Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament Information
The Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament (JPT) is a competition that has grown steadily in our community. JPT is also a fundraising event for the North Platte Public Library Foundation. More than 160 kids in 2nd through 8th grade and 50 adults participated last year.
Entry Fees and Sponsorship Information
NPPL Foundation actively seeks sponsorships for students and adults with a fundraising goal of $50.00 per puzzler. The costs to carry out the event are expected to be $1,500 in 2018. These costs include facility and equipment rental, puzzles, competition and participation prizes. We rely solely on volunteers to plan, operate and carry out the event. The 2017 JPT event raised $22.53 per puzzler.

Sponsorship Levels are:
Platinum ($1000 or more) receives Gold level benefits plus “Thank You” recognition in the North Platte Telegraph
Gold ($500 or more) receives Silver level benefits plus a framed Certificate of Appreciation
Silver ($200 or more) receives Bronze level benefits plus business logo and/or name for sponsorship recognition on the NPPL Foundation website
Bronze ($100 or more) receives Copper level benefits plus a full color photo montage from the tournament on regular copy paper and the option for invoicing and delayed payment to March 31, 2017
Copper ($50 or more) receives Steel level benefits plus business logo and/or name on sponsorship advertising at the tournament
Steel (Less than $50) receives a personal “Thank You” from the puzzlers they help sponsor, a receipt for their donation (not valid for entry fee) from Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation and the option to direct their donation toward a specific puzzler, team, school, etc.

NPPL Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for a future North Platte Public Library capital improvement project. The funds are kept at Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation.

Entry Fee: $50.00 per person – we actively seek sponsors for STUDENTS, and ask ADULTS to help support or find sponsors for themselves.

Changes for 2018:
There are a maximum number of teams accepted into each division due to limitations of space. The tournament arena holds a maximum of 28 tables during concurrent division play with spectators. The maximums are:
Registrations will be taken in order received and early registration is strongly encouraged.
Once the maximum registrations per division have been received, overflow registrants will be notified that their team / puzzler(s) are on standby.
Standby registrants can then decide if they want to keep their place in line for cancellation notification or pass their spot to someone else. If they stay on standby, we suggest showing up at the tournament in case of last minute cancellations and no shows.
