The North Platte Public Library was recipient of a Nebraska Library Innovation Studios: Transforming Rural Communities grant in 2017. Fifteen (15) pieces of equipment and kits were delivered to the North Platte Public Library during the first week in September 2018. This equipment goes leaves us and goes on to the next grant receiving library on January 22, 2019. 

In order to have a permanent Creation Station in the community, the North Platte Public Library Foundation, in cooperation with the North Platte Public Library, is fundraising $42,000 for ten (10) pieces of equipment, accessories, and startup supplies. These funds will be used to purchase ten (10) pieces of equipment, accessories, and supplies for the Creation Station in the Library. 

NPPL Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises funds for a future North Platte Public Library capital improvement project. The funds are kept at Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation.
